Even though December was pretty quiet on the old blog, there was still alot of creative yumminess taking place. It was a "super secret project" that I couldn't reveal, sneak peek or even really hint about. We draw names on the Hubby's side for Christmas every year. I drew my Sis-in-Law....the super-awesome quilter in the family so I knew that it had to be a super-awesome gift. Here's what I came up with -
The Christmas fabric is by Kate Spain. The design courtesy of the "kid". The quilting lessons and sticky notes courtesy of Ms. Tammy. And yes, my secret is out.....I really can sew.
I'm pretty sure that she loved it! Her hubby sent me this picture shortly after they got home from our get together. And, I really enjoyed making it....so much so that.....I've got another one laying on the workroom table waiting to be pieced together.
